Pip has gathered the workshop notes here. Find your next clue, check your tools, or get help with a troublesome brew.
First day at the workbench?
Choose Fill and tap a segment. Potion fills from the round bulb to that segment. Match every row, column and recipe total to finish. X marks are optional notes for remembering where potion cannot go; Erase clears the whole tube.
How do the numbers change?
Each clue shows filled / target. A filled segment adds one to its row on the left and one to its column above. In the apprentice lesson, filling a three-segment row makes the left clue 3/3, while each column gains one. A column at 1/2 still needs one more filled segment, even though that row is complete.
When is a recipe complete?
The brew is complete when every row, column, and any recipe total matches its target. Empty segments can stay blank. Exclude is an optional note-taking tool, so there is no need to add an X to every empty spot.
A recipe says A + B = 5. What does it mean?
The two tubes labeled A and B contain five filled segments in total. Letters identify tubes, not colors. Combine this recipe with the row and column clues.
Added a drop too many?
Undo and Redo keep your last 100 moves. Reset asks for confirmation and can also be undone. Hints explain a deduction and never use money or consumable credits.
Offline play and settings
All 120 puzzles work offline. In Settings, you can change sound, haptics, and English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese or Korean. Motion follows the device’s Reduce Motion setting.
Where is my recipe book saved?
Progress is saved on this device. There is no account or developer-operated cloud sync. Do not delete the app as a troubleshooting step if you want to keep your progress. Device backups may restore app data depending on your system settings.
